Dom (Alliance #3) by S.J. Tilly

When I was nine, I went to my first funeral. Along with accepting my father's death, I had to accept new and awful truths I wasn't prepared for. When I was nineteen, I went to my mother's funeral. We weren't close, but with her gone, I became more alone than ever before. Sure, I have a half-brother who runs The Alliance. And yeah, he's given me his protection - in the form of a bodyguard and chauffeur. But I don't have anyone that really knows me. No one to really love me. Until I meet him. The man in the airport. And when one chance meeting turns into something hotter, something more serious, I let myself believe that maybe he's the one. Maybe this man is the one who will finally save me from my loneliness. the one to give me the family I've always craved. Dom by S.J Tilly was published on September 2023. This is the third book of the Alliance series.

I absolutely loved book one and book two from this series. So I had to get this book the day it came out because the first two books were absolutely amazing. I was not disappointed at all in this book. I fell in love with Val and wanted to hug her so much. Also invite her to be my sister because her half-brother King and half-sister really didn't see her as a person. I really found a likeness in her and myself. I have three siblings who were adopted before I was born who want nothing to do with me. So I felt her pain in trying to be what they want her to be. With that I can see how she turned a blind eye to all the the flags that Dom was showing in the beginning. Dom, what can I say about Dom. I could tell when he fell for Val and saw her more then a person he had to trick to become a wife. I loved how he evolved in this book and how he slowly allowed Val to become more. The plot in this book are amazing. The plot flowed through the book so seamlessly. It was nice to see each main characters fall in love in the book. It didn't feel rushed at all. I loved it and I really can't wait to read more books by S.J. Tilly.

Quotes That I Loved

Holy fuck-me eyes. I blink. Scratch that. Holy fuck-me everything.

"Make me happy, Angel."
"Let me feed you. Eat your treat."

Lord, help me. This is going to be the best and worst flight ever. It'll be like sitting in front of a giant cheesecake but knowing you aren't allowed to take a bite.

"Keep teasin' me, see where it gets you."

"Guess so."
"Or maybe you drugged me."
"You've found me out. I'm not a web designer. I'm actually a drug lord."
"Drug lord? Do they still call them that?"
"I didn't say I was good at at it."
"I like you, Valentine Gandy."

"I need a taste of you, Angel. A taste of whatever you'll give me....Fuck, Valentine, I'd kill for just a kiss. But I'll taste those too if you let me."

"It's been a long time, and this sweet-as-candy pussy is about to suck the cum right out of me. So I need you to come, Valentine. I need you to be a good little girl and come first."

"Come for me....come on this cock. Show me what a good little wife you can be. Show me how I make you feel."

"If the question has been will you wear my ring, or would you perfer I tattoo your whole-ass finger like a psycho, my answer would've been a little different."

"You.Are.My.Wife........And people need to know that. If I can't trust you to wear a ring, I'll mark you myself for everyone to see."

"Maybe I didn't make myself clear when I tattooed your name across my fucking throat. This....is so everyone knows who I belong to."

"And inking the last words of my vow to you above my fucking dick....that's all for you, Angel. So when you're ready to wrap those lips around my cock and take me into your throat, you'll be eye level with my promise to you. Even on your knees, I'll still be yours."

"Just take it....take me like the good wife I know you are."

Sleet Banshee by S.J. Tilly

Mother-freaking hockey players. My friends found their happily-ever-afters with a couple of sweet, doting, over-the-top, in-love athletes. They got nicknames like Kitten and Sugar. But me? I got stuck with a dickhead who riles me up on purpose and calls me Banshee. Yeah, he might have a voice made explicitly for wet dreams. And he might have a body and face carved by the gods. And he might have a level of Alpha-hole that gets me all hot and bothered...But when he presses my buttons, he presses ALL of my buttons. And I'm not the type of girl who takes things sitting down. I mean, I only got caught on my knees that one time: In the museum. Sleet Banshee by S.J. Tilly was published in January 2023. This book three of the Sleet series.

Sorry, I have not been posting a lot lately. I have one kid in theater and choir, one who does online school at home, and two in soccer...whew it's a lot. Anyways, I will try to do better for those who read my reviews. Anyways, I loved the first two Sleet series books and thought oh those were my favorite. Then S.J. Tilly pushed this one into my view and now this one is my favorite. I loved the two main characters in this book. I loved Meghan's sense of humor in the other two books. I also loved how she helped the romance grow in the second book. I felt like she needed some love as well. I knew Meghan had more then what we saw and I am so happy that we were able to see all of her. Also her little things that made her her. I was also so happy to meet Sabastian in this book. He makes me laugh and I just love hearing about his background. Also how he treats Meghan. The plot in this book is so fun and you just want to read the whole thing in one setting. But of course life won't let you. (Looking at you...kids) The plot creates a natural romance that sometimes reminded me of elementary age when boys would pick on a girl to get her to notice him. I loved this book and highly recommend it.

Quotes that I Loved

....I don't know much about the Greek, but I do know they make finger-licking good food. So throw this man on a platter and call him a snack, because I. Am. Salivating.

"Look here, jackhole. You are not sending me in first like a sacrificial lamb. Get your big sexy ass in there and clear the way."
"You think I'm Sexy?"

"Baby, you're gonna want to stop wiggling that sweet ass against me if you don't want to find out just how not teeny-tiny I really am."

Meghan: I'm sorry, this number does not accept text messages from giant douche holes. #unsubscribe

"Please, Meghan. Megs. Banshee. My Fire Goddess of Wisdom and Kindness. Please forgive me. I'm so sorry for the things I said. I'm a major dickhole and I'll owe you a life debt if only you'll accept my apology."

"Pretty sure it's a form of erectile dysfunction if getting smacked in the face stirs your cock. Diagnosis heavy on the dysfunction."

"Uh, can I have my undies back?"
"No."
"No?"
"Yeah, no. I'm keeping those."

Okay, his dick is basically gold, but so what?

You can run, little Banshee, but you can't hide.

"I hate to break up the suck-fest, but I thought you'd like to know we have surveillance cameras, Everywhere."

Sleet Sugar (Sleet #2) by S.J. Tilly

My friends have convinced me. No more hockey players. With a dad who is the Head Coach for the Minnesota Sleet, it seemed like an easy decision. My friends have also convinced me that the best way to boost my fragile self-esteem is through a one-night stand. A dating app. A hotel bar. A sexy-as-hell man...who's sweet, and funny, and - did I mention? Assumptions. There's a rule about them. I assumed he was passing through town. I assumed he was a businessman, or maybe an investor, or accountant, or literally anything other than a professional hockey player. I assumed I'd never see him again. I assumed wrong. Sleet Sugar by S.J. Tilly was published in January 2023. This book two of the Sleet series.

I absolutely loved the first book in this series and so I could not wait to read this one. This one I think blew the other out of the waters. I absolutely loved seeing Izzy that you meant in the first book really finding her own. Izzy is a very rounded character with faults and strength. Also all of her emotions felt real in the book and not pushed into. Her personality really shown in the book and it's great. I felt like Zach is the guy that I could picture being in the popular crowd. But he is still the loveable jokester. I didn't feel that some of his emotions or actions really fit with the rest of him but it was easy to look over. The plot in this book is amazing and really well done. It was more of an instant love but that was okay. The actions of Zach trying to get Izzy to give him a chance made me often giggle. I really enjoyed this book and I recommend you to check it out.

Quotes that I Loved

"Sugar, if you think having intercourse like that is impossible, then you've been wasting your time with all the wrong men."

"Good. Now I'm going to put my mouth on this sweet pussy of yours and find out if you taste like candy everywhere."

"Don't worry, Baby....I have no intention of telling my coach just how fucking tasty and dirty his pretty daughter is. I know full well that wouldn't be good for my health."

I'm feeling really fucking possessive!

"....I openly admit that it will take more than one cup of sweetness to make up for the trauma I've put you through tonight. I'm the worst. You're the best. I'm a troll. You're a goddess. I'm dumb. You're brilliant. I'm salt. You're sweet, sweet Sugar."

"You're right. We should have done that somewhere with a locking door, with you naked and my cock buried inside of you."

Sleet Kitten (Sleet #1) by S.J. Tilly

There are a few things that life doesn't prepare you for. Like what to do when a super-hot guy catches you sneaking around in his basement. Or what to do when a mysterious package shows up with tickets to a hockey game because, apparently, he's a professional athlete. Or how to handle it when you get to the game and realize he's a freaking famous since half of the 20,000 people in the stands are wearing his jersey. Sleet Kitten by S.J. Tilly was published in January 2023. This is the first book in the Sleet series.

I will say this that I decided to read this book from what I saw of it on booktok, bookinsta the like. Anyways, I was so happy that I took the chance and jumped in. The book made me giggle so much through it. I loved that she accidently ventured away and he came across her in the library. I must say the introvert in me would most likely do the same then be wowed by the library in the house. I fell in love with the main characters in this book. I loved how they each had faults and I loved how he pursued her. He was the one who contacted a mutual person to get her info. Which is great that he was stalking her at all. I also loved her nickname that he gave her of kitten. There is so many awesome and so many fun scenes where you end up laughing like crazy. Such as their first date his mom crashed it without knowing who each person was. Second date...so many people crashed it. The smut wasn't like extreme in this book but it left you hanging. I highly recommend checking out this book.

Quotes That I Loved

Stick an apple in my mouth. Drop me on a platter. And ring the bell. I'm done.

"You, my little Kitten, have some claws hidden in that enticing package. And right now, I'm looking at the only gorgeous creature that has captured my attention tonight."

Luke is sitting at the dining table with Kitten. And my sister. And my mama. Stopping dead in my tracks, I scold myself for my previous thought. This. This is the lasting fucking thing I wanted to happen tonight.

"I will make you my girl, Kitten. I promise you that. But I'm going to take my time in doing so. I'm going to wait until you're ready for me."

"Honestly, he's being a real fucking tease. If he doesn't put out soon, I'm going to end up with blue balls. Blue uterus. Whatever."

King (Alliance #2) by S.J. Tilly

Okay, so my bad for assuming the guy I was going on a date with wasn't married. And my bad for taking him to a friend's house for dinner, only to find out my friend is also friends with his wife. Because, in fact, he is married. And she happens to be at my friend's house because her husband was busy working. Confused? So am I. Unsurprisingly, my date's wife is super angry about finding out that her husband is a cheating asshole. Girl, I get it. Then, to make matters more convoluted, there is the man sitting next to my date's wife. A man named King, who is apparently her brother, and who lives up to his name. Since my date is a two-timing prick, I'm not going to feel bad about drooling over King, especially since I'll never see him again. Or at least I don't plan to. King by S.J. Tilly was published in May 2023. This is book two in the Alliance series.

First thing I need to mention is this book had me on the edge of my seat from the very beginning. I mean I saw it coming a little bit but it was like action at the very beginning of the book. I loved King in the first book in the series. The little bit you get to see him that is. So I could not wait to see who King was and watch him get the turn about with a women. But this book really took King to the next level. Also you get to see Nero again in this book and he does not hold back on King. I loved the two main characters. I loved how both of them have faults that just make them do stupid things. But you can also see their relationship develop throughout the book. Though, it's crazy to have a relationship with a guy who you just saw kill your new ex boyfriend. It's a great book and I highly recommend checking this out. You won't be disappointed. Also...the smut scenes are spicy and dark. It was hard to hide my emotions at one of them when I was surrounded by my children. My husband knew I was at a smut scene but the kiddos did not. Whew...

Quotes That I Loved

"His name is Leland," the woman, Aspen, bites out. "And he is my lying, cheating, piece of shit husband." -I Loudly Said...Dead Man

The engine roars to life, and I leave my dead not-quite-boyfriend's apartment with his killer.

"Are you really making fucking popcorn right now?" Nero doesn't answer, but he doesn't have to since the increased popping replies for him.

"I won't force myself inside you, Savannah Baby. But I am dying to come all over those pretty tits, so don't fucking tempt me."

"Do you promise to be a faithful captor for as long as you both shall live?"

"To be the best wife you can be? To not slit King's throat while he sleeps?"

Nero (Alliance #1) by S.J. Tilly

Running away from home at 17 wasn't easy. Let's face it though, nothing before, or in the ten years since, has been easy for me. And I'm doing okay. Sorta. I just need to keep scraping by, living under the radar. Staying out of people's way, off people's minds. So when a man walks through my open patio door, stepping boldly into my home, and my life, I should be scared. Frightened. Terrified. But I must be more broken than I realized, because I'm none of those things. I'm intrigued. And I'm wondering if the way to take control of my life is by giving in to him. Nero by S.J. Tilly was published in March 2023. This is book one in the Alliance series.

First off I loved the dedication of this book, "To all my ladies who see those walking Red Flags as pretty shade of pink...repeat after me, only when the men are fictional." When I read those words I knew this book would be one that I will want to throw across the room one minute then snuggle deep under the covers the next. I was quite right with this book as it's one of those. I absolutely loved Patton and Nero. Patton is one of those girls who have had back luck and after bad luck. She knows evil at the hands of her step-father. But still has a big fault as when she lets a complete stranger walk into her apartment. Nero, he has many many faults, he is a hard guy to crack but has a gooey center that only comes out for a certain girl. I really fell in love with both characters in this book. Let's talk about the smut in this book. This book had some spicy smut. Not on the level as Haunting Adeline had but it was getting up there. Nero is a stalker of Patton but not takes over her life kind of way. No he just shows up at random time. Patton, I seriously don't know how she is so trusting of a complete stranger after hearing what she went through growing up. The plot has a good pace and Patton thank goodness saw some red flags of Nero. But it was a great read and I had to pick up the next book right away to hear more.  I highly recommend this book.

Quotes That I Loved

I jump when he speaks, then bite my lip. "Um....I don't think I should tell you that." I see his eyes flick over in my direction. "Clever girl."

What's his name?
"Wh-whose name?"
"The man who laid his hands on you. Tell me his name."

"Such a pretty pussy." He slides a finger up and down my slit but doesn't push in. "I bet it's gonna be tight. Bet you're gonna squeeze the cum right out of me."

"You're crazy"
"For you, I'm fucking certifiable."

"You know....Cinderella only left one shoe behind."
"Yeah, and Prince Charming didn't break into her home to find her."
"The villians always have more fun."

"You're such a good girl."
